34 years of putting the photo inside the ball
Showball Sports Product Company Inc. is an American manufacturer. We invented and patented sportography — a real photograph sealed inside a real sports ball, viewed through a built-in eyepiece — and we have been building it in the same Georgia plant ever since.
Printing a photo on the outside of a ball is easy, which is why everyone does it. Sealing one inside the ball, so that it survives handling and rewards the person who picks it up, took a patent and a manufacturing process. That process is what Showball has spent 34 years running.
The customers have stayed the same too: families buying a keepsake for senior night or a memorial, and athletic programs ordering a hundred at a time for a banquet. Both get the same product off the same line in Austell.
