What you are actually buying

Region and state championships drive most basketball orders. A net-cutting photograph sealed inside the ball is a different award than an engraved plate on wood — every player on the bench gets the same image of the same ladder, and it stays a ball rather than becoming wall decoration.

Senior night at half court is the second occasion. Rosters are small enough that a program can give one to every senior and their family without a wholesale budget, and the presentation reads well on camera when the ball is held up and looked into.

AAU and club programs use them as end-of-circuit awards, where families have paid for a summer of travel and want proof it happened. We also build single pieces for a thousandth career point, a coach's last home game, or a player moving up to the college level.

The composite cover keeps its channel depth and grip, and the eyepiece is recessed into a panel so the ball still sits flat in a rack. Because the photograph is inside, it cannot rub off the way a printed image does.
