What you are actually buying
Softball moves on a calendar of its own, and this piece is built around it. Senior night comes first: parents walking the baseline, one last home plate photo, and a keepsake handed over in front of the crowd instead of a certificate that goes in a drawer. Travel-ball is the second season — a summer of hotel weekends and 7 a.m. pool play that ends with a banquet, and a full-size ball carrying the team photo inside it is the thing girls actually keep from that year.
Showcase and college-commit gifting is the third use. When a player signs, the recruiting photo goes inside the ball and the commitment stops being a social post and becomes an object on a shelf.
The cover is optic yellow with contrast stitching, unchanged from a game ball, and the eyepiece sits flush in one panel. Because the image is inside, it survives the years of being handled, packed and moved between dorm rooms that a printed ball does not.
