What you are actually buying

The gold collection is the non-sport half of what we make. A graduation scroll finished in metallic gold, red, blue or black, lettered with the class year and tied with a ribbon, holds the graduate's portrait sealed inside — the same patented method, applied to a diploma-shaped keepsake instead of a ball.

Graduation is the obvious occasion and the reason schools order by class rather than by student. Academic honors follow: valedictorians, honor societies, scholarship recipients and department awards, each with a name and date on the panel.

Retirement is the third. Thirty years of teaching does not fit on a plaque, but a photograph of the last class a teacher stood in front of, sealed inside a gold scroll, is something a district can present at a board meeting.

Memorial keepsakes are the quietest part of the line and the one we take most care with. A family sends one photograph, we crop it as they ask, and the finished piece keeps it enclosed and protected rather than exposed on a shelf.
